Holidays

If anyone wants to visit me, I have holidays starting on the 15th in the afternoon and ending on the morning of the 19th. I also have holidays starting on the 22nd in the afternoon and ending on the 26th in the morning. We have an extra mattress here but you will have to bring a pillow and a sheet. Irashaimase!

Japan: World of the Revolutionary Idea of "Glasses While You Wait"

After over a year of nagging, Kaz finally got a pair of glasses. We were walking around and bumped into a shop filled with colourful exciting pairs of glasses! He immediately picked out this sporty pair with bright yellow arms. They tested his vision right there in the store. We waited 1/2 an hour while the shop made the glasses. Japan is, without a doubt, the world of instant satisfaction! There will be no more itchy Rita scratchiness for this Shih-tzu's astigmatized peepers!

Birthday/Graduation/Retirement/Going Away Party!!!

It was a success! However, there were still cases of beer, bottles of wine, and tons of food left over. People even went so far as to bring alcohol and snacks, and even presents and cards- those craze maniacs. In total, there were over 30 people present throughout the night. It was busy, loud, and nothing was smashed. People asked about smashing the computer, to their dismay, Mark-Rita had not removed important data from the computer, so it could not be smashed. We were going to ask brother-Rita to smash his organ, but we decided not to proceed.

Luckily, Kend-Rita showed up and brought a fabulous gift, her card read:

She wore a Chinese pointy hat all night, and even took it home with her to hang on the wall, and dress up with it for Halloween. She looked great it in, it matched her glittery brown shoes, and great outfit.

Later in the night cousin Jolene showed up, and saw me and all the ABBA fans (Elly, Herb, Marion, and Marianne) dancing to the blasting Gold ABBA tunes…. She didn’t know what to think, always caught up in the stylish world of young ones.
Your parents got me a fabulous card and gift. Thank you family... they treat me like family... its so touching.....

Brother-Rita cooked on the BBQ, and had his pic taken with Michael Jackson, all night and day sister-Celen-Rita chased him, and accused him of impersonating Michael.

Even G-Pa made a cameo appearance, ate some sweets, a coffee, and bread, and even spoke with Mark-Rita’s Hungarian brotha-fritnend.

The G-Secretary showed up and left wasted. I gave her dip and pita to take home, she was happy.

Oh yeah, I made this dip, totally experimental, and everyone loved it!!! Lol. They were all asking me for the recipe… I had read a recipe on the back of a Triscott Cracker box a month ago, and attempted to remember the recipe in my mind. I remembered late last night that I forgot the mayo, but it was still good.
Here is the recipe for you Kend-Rita:
1 can spinach drained
1 can asparagus drained
Generous amount of crab- 2 cups?
2 packages of cream cheese
1 container round 250 mls? Of herb and garlic cream cheese
Grated cheese white
Chopped up tomatoes from the garden

Cést fini!!!

Mix it together and put it in the oven for 20 minutes. I put it on 250, but I think it should have been on a higher temperature!

Recent news: I will teach kindergarten in September! I was teaching summer school at Global International Juku. A Juku is a cram school where children go after school to learn even MORE!

The humane parents of my 5 year-old students decided that they didn't want their children going to our cram school after school. Instead, they wanted me to be their kindergarten teacher! Consequently, Global International School's kindergarten program was born.

My partner teacher will be Freddie Grunter, a large, meaty, baby-faced British rugby captain and drama queen. It will be a blast - just wait and see!

Fun Times on Kyushu Island!

Spaz and I just returned from visiting his parents in Kitakyushu. We relaxed a lot, ate, slept in, and went to a seaside restaurant with his Mom. We ate this sea creature. I don't know its name.

We also visited an aquarium and saw many many many interesting sea creatures. My favourites were these cute eels that stick out of the sand!

Well I do!!!
Aunt Rita called me yesterday morning yelling at me, insulting me, and would not let me speak. She was a raging Rita on DPRH (DoublePregnancyRitaHormone) or (TTWSIH ThatsTheWaySheIsHormone).
This predicament started all over miscommunication!! ERRRRRRRRR SCRATCH SCRATCH RIP RIP!!!!!!!!!!
Its all over a trip to Chicago. Basically, she said she wasnt going, then changed her mind, wanted me and my two crew to drive with them on Saturday after I had already booked the hotel, and made arrangements to leave early on Friday morning, in order for GPA and my crew to do the ceremonies in Ill.Nois. So Aunt Rita called me yesterday morning yelling at me telling me that I knew that if I didnt carpool with her then she wasnt going. I guess it does seem wrong to take two seperate vehicles, but why should I be forced to ride with perv and stinko? And change my schedule around? They never asked if it was an inconvenience for me and my two crew. I cried and cried yesterday over it. I dont want to fight with Aunt Rita!!!!
GPA says to swallow it because there's always worse to come later in life. and that its a circus. And to stop playing monkey games.
So yesterday, I got out the beer...

News from J-Land

Hello, everyone! I would like to start off this post with a picture that my 4.5 year-old student drew. Do you notice something bizarre and unsettling about this picture? I see a 666 and a landscape of fire and chaos!!! I can't take on Rita, let alone the Devil!

So tonight, I was coming home from work at 9:00 and I saw this man who had pulled his nice car up beside one of the apartment buildings. He was trying to convince this woman to get into his car. She didn't want to go and he started pulling her and she pushed him away. So, my inner teacher/police officer came out suddenly and I walked right up to the man, wagged my finger at him and told him twice that his was not to put his hands on that woman. He was so shocked to see this little foreign chick telling him off in English, that the woman that he had been harassing took off in the confusion. He didn't pursue the woman. I wish I had had it on video tape. It would have been such a glorious and funny moment.
