An Afternoon with Shigeko in Yokohama

Today I spent the afternoon with Shigeko Ishiyama in Yokohama. Shigeko is the former computer student of the husband of a volunteer that I worked with while I was on my practicum teaching developmentally-challenged highschool students. She is such an elegant lady!

We went out for lunch and I had lamb. We then took a boat tour and went to Yokohama's ChinaTown. We also walked around a park which had many Edo-period buildings. It was like being in Shogun!

Shigeko's husband lives in Shanghai. I asked her if she missed him and she said that she didn't. She likes being able to have her own life funded by her husband's overseas income. Sounds good to me too!
